Sustainability

At Norwegian Property, we are proud that sustainability is a natural and integrated part of our daily management and development.

Measures for the environment, people and business ethics

Our sustainability strategy for 2026–2030 is built on three areas: environment, social and governance. It has been developed so that we can contribute to positive change where we have the greatest impact. We will have climate-resilient properties and reach net zero emissions by 2050. To achieve this we will reduce energy use, transitioning to cleaner energy sources and focusing on reuse, waste sorting and good maintenance. We will ensure safe workplaces free from accidents and breaches of HSE or our Code of Conduct. This applies both to our own employees and to everyone working at our properties. We set clear requirements for suppliers and business partners in line with the Norwegian Transparency Act and have zero tolerance for corruption and money laundering. We report openly on our progress every year through our sustainability report, climate accounts and certifications such as Eco-Lighthouse (Miljøfyrtårn) and BREEAM-In-Use.
